Recap of Thanks

You know what's really hard to do? Have a marvelous Thanksgiving, do a heck of a lot of wedding planning, and then, after allll of the fun, come back to school for only 15 days until Christmas break. The kids know it, I know it, and I'm just throwing this out there, I'd be willing to teach from online for these three weeks. I believe it would be much more convenient for everyone involved.

So we Thanksgiving'd and took some pics and I really love my family and my new family. I'm not sure how many times I can say it.... and it's not just because they allll read this thing. Then I Black Friday shopped and had a magnificent time! It was no where near as crowded as my brain was picturing. It got a little more crazy towards the end of the day... but that might have just been all the bags I was lugging around! :)

Saturday was game day, not College Game Day (that's Waco this weekend). Tech game day at Jerry's world. I'm glad it was at Jerry's world because the game was way too close to be comfortable, but we had an excellent time and some pretty awesome seats! Not to mention I got three Aggies to dress in green and gold. While they refused to take a picture together, they failed to realize us girls know how to picstitch. So I am able to bring you this lovely picture. Love you Man BFF, Grumpy Cat Michael, and, of course, Duck Dude!!!

And now, it's back to the real world of preparing for semester exams, getting ready to host basketball tournaments, still trying to pack my apartment, and........ Justin Timberlake tomorrow!!!!

  1. I feel your pain about going back to school for work. Try working on a college campus where today officially kicks off finals which will end next week & then it'll be a ghost town but you're stuck at work till the 19th. Things could be done but who wants to start any new projects right before 2 weeks off? The struggle is real. One of my bridesmaids is a Baylor Bear & she never lets us forget so I laugh every time you mention Baylor because I always think of her.
