Drop the Mic Reception

Our reception was that good.

Last week I gave you the details. This week I give you the fun pictures. We danced. We sang at the top of our lungs. We line danced. We booty danced. We zero gravity danced (a made up thing where you don't move your foot, but everything else). We two-stepped. We jammed out to every single song played.

You always hear it will go by fast and ours definitely did, but I love these pictures that captured a little glimpse of how much fun we had celebrating ourselves!

One of my favorite part of weddings is the bouquet and garter toss! It has such great potential to be hilarious and fun....... and our wedding party did NOT disappoint!!!

Look at that dedication!!!! I am so proud to call all of them my crazy friends!!!!

In the end... bridesmaid Kristen walked/strutted/danced away with it!!

Then, it was the boys' turn.  Duck Dude slid and pulled a duck call out from underneath my dress. All the while, I am yelling at him to grab the bottom one!!

Groomsmen Duke ended up with my wonderfully sweaty garter. Maybe it was this confidence here that enticed him to tie his tie around the top of his head. (keep reading..)

Then back to dancing!

Zero gravity!! This is it right here y'all!

During the song "Shout" while everyone was 'a little bit softer now' our photographer had us stand up in the middle of everyone! I think it turned out really cool!

Closer to the end of the night, we sang our college fight songs! This is something Duck Dude and I talked about before.. we knew what we wanted to do. While I am not officially an Aggie, I will support my husband and his Aggies, and vice versa with him and my Baylor Bears. So we both wanted to join in on the other's fight song. I loved it.

The best part about the Aggie fight song was we had a former yell leader at our wedding. So he lead a yell and then we went about the fight song.

Ready for some Baylor pride? My photographer sent this one to me almost immediately. What can I say? We love our Bears.

Like. I. Said.

Drop the mic.

    1. It was something we knew we wanted to do from the beginning and it turned out really well. I"ve been at weddings where people have "boo'd" the other college... but ours went off without a hitch!
